Spot is seen on the right, in the title screen from his first appearance.
Spot is Blasternaut's galactic robot buddy. Like a faithful pet Spot helps Blasternaut on all his missions. However, he sometimes complains of too much work. ("Math Blaster Episode 1: In Search of Spot")
In the TV series, he's a robotic dog, once again Max Blaster (Blasternaut)'s companion. Some of the games adopted this version of him for a while.
